Feed very two weeks with very dilute tomato fertiliser from about August, and don't water much so it is on the dryish side most of the time.

Bright light, no sun

Werks fer me ----- as you can see

Great, mine are flowering now!

They thrive on neglect in my house, could do with repotting but never quite get round to it (and a feed, now you come to mention it too!!)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Thankyou sunshine I will do that, I repotted a couple of years ago after years of hap hazzard watering.
It does seem like they don't like alot of fuss... :) :)

My red one and orange one are in the greenhouse at the moment -- not yet even in bud

They always flower much later ( and are also much smaller  ;) )

years ago I moved house and inherited a huge old greenhouse, Inside were some weird looking things in pots that I just put under the staging and ignored. A good few months later they started to flower with no help from me at all............lovely Christmas cacti :)
The next year i looked after them better...but they never flowered as well again :D
