Kitchen Garden
Grow Your Own

 are two for starters.

Best thing to do is have a look in a supermarket or Smiths etc, see which one you prefer.  They all tend to repeat themselves after a year or two anyway.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I've learned 100 times more on here since February than in 3 years subscription to BBC Gardening...

And these forums are much friendlier (as well as informative) than GYO's!  :tongue2:

A year ago I would buy GYO or KG, or Home Farmer (I think it's called.) Now, I just come here; beats all the mags hands down for advice.

They are good magazines but, as someone said, you only need to get them over the year and then re-read them the next - they are exactly the same!  ::)

I love buying my magazines each month.  I get Kitchen Gardener and Grow Your Own.  I have also recently started getting Grow It but this isn't always avaible everywhere.

I have enjoyed buying a few but found that I never really went back to them and for the price of a couple of Magazines I could get a decent book. Like so many others I have learnt more here than from mags.

Grow your Own and Kitchen Garden - also found Smallholder useful as reference books but for top tips, I gotta agree, can't beat the 'ere forum and the helpful souls that abound!  8)

I've got 2 years worth of Kitchen Garden in binders.  What I ought to do is read the appropriate 2 back issues every month, but somehow I can't resist buying the latest issue as well!
