Hi Everyone,

Now I know that rotovators seem to be a hot topic on here  , and after reading some of the previous threads i have worked out that Merry Tiller seems to be a preferred brand (see I have been reading what people have put before!)

There is one gone up on ebay that is a "Merry Tillers - Professional 300 Templar Tillers Rotovator" Any one ever used one of these and could give me any feedback? It seems like it has been a well loved machine and has been serviced and looked after throughout the years (last service was 2009)

Any knowledge people could share with me would be appreciated.

Hello Steph,

  I have no direct experience with things Templar so can't really advise....

However, to avoid confusion, Templar were an independant tiller seller (they did a hover mower too)...and were not connected to Merry Tiller which is another brand of machine completely.

 The brand name Merry Tiller can get attached to other makes of tiller...perhaps...in the same way that vacuum cleaners can get referred to as "Hoovers" which in reality is just one specific manufacturer.
 Similar happens with rotary mowers being referred to as Flymos..when again that is just one specific brand name.
