Soft shell advice

From what I've read in a previous thread about 'soft shells' it seems that the occasional softie is fairly common at this time of year and quite a few of us were getting them. As long as it's not an ongoing problem and just now and again it's nothing to worry about. Especially if you are giving the girls all the right feed and suppliments. We have four Warrens and have had a couple of soft shelled eggs recently. The girls eat layers mash/pellets, available at all times, the usual greens, corn, some treats etc. plus mixed poultry grit, oyster shell and crushed baked egg shells (their own and a perfect way to recycle them  )
