Totally agree with SG6, don`t cut the new growth back if it fruits. Harvest the fruit, but leave the canes alone until they`ve fruited the next year.

I've got Polka (Autumn). Two years in I was lazy and where I hadn't cut down the Autumn fruiting canes, they actually fruited this year in the Summer. I dug up some new canes in March and replanted and I'm still getting huge fruit from them. It's nearly November!!!
This year I'm cutting dead wood out and just taking off the fruited top foot or two from the Summer ones, cutting the Autumn ones right down. 
Maybe it will work again!!!
