Thaks ciderman, I've no doubt he Would like the glass, but I'll check tomorrow and pm you my mobile number.

Now, George was at pains for me to stress that the "shed" did have commitee aproval as it was only re-skinning the previous shed, which was a large pigsty built in the late twenties! Height was not discussed, so, as he says he might keep girraffes in it!
As for the greenhouse metal work, that is only bits of dexion holding the lower board and of course the tracks! The rest is timber.
George explaining tonight!

In the process of putting in supports.

I think we should vote for George as head of the new version of the house of lords. He'd certainly get things done, and on the cheap to boot.

Tell George he's now an international hero thanks to this thread.

How are you doing on the pain killers?

Giraffes would certainly give the neighbours something to talk about! They are vegetarians, so an allotment could suit them very well.   :D :D

George certainly would have saved the Nation a mint if he’d been in charge of the Millennium dome project!

The mention of girraffes really struck George's imagination, and he's wondering if the manure would be better coming from such a greater height! :D

Just arrived at George's plot this afternoon just as the bottom fell out of the stool he was standing on  Course I didn't have my camera out fast enough before he said  and found another one! Still painting!
The committee chairman had a pop at him for thinning his paint with petrol! So I gave him a bottle of turps in exchange for a seed tray! :D

Rising from the rubble, now complete with louvered door and ventilation. The yellow is undercoat, as it will be finished in white! 8)
The collection in front has to be disposed of, as there's another greenhouse, not on tracks, going in the space! :D

This afternoon!

That is one heck of a greenhouse.

You say he's going to erect another greenhouse on the site of the pile of rubble. Does George grow anything outdoors, or is it all under protection?
