That's a lovely old stove - I wonder where he rescued that from  :D

There's a scrap yard merchant next door and George gives him flowers for his missus! :nowink:

Very handy indeed. Wonder if George plans to re-black it?

Can't find a makers name, and the chimney adapter needs a repair, but I'm sure George will find a way round that! :D
He's had me googling zebo black lead, but his best bet is matt black aerosol stove paint which is available in town!

You can still get Zip Black Grate & Cast Iron Cleaner, instead of Zebo  ;)

Did a bit of googlin last night, it appears to be a Clarke, cast in China, still available new with not a very good reputation! >:(

He's committed now though, otherwise he'll have to mend the hole in the shed roof! ;)

He's found another pot of pink undercoat so the shed's having a lick of paint! :D
Not sure about the final colour, but our chairman, who's a retired painter and decorator will find him something in keeping and not too garish! :nowink:

Dare we say it's taking overtones of a villa?  :D

He's finally managed to paint it green as he always wanted! Trouble is it's a different shade on each wall! 8)

Looking good, though! And I see George's once-shorn locks are flowing again!  ;)

Things have taken a strange turn; George has been looking for metallic containers to transport fresh water to the plot. George being George went to the scrap yard He showed me the aluminium containers he had obtained and asked for ideas for getting rid of the oily remains in the containers.

I realised the oily remains were from a company dealing with the perfume industry: essential oils! Now I’m into oil burners etc, so I persuaded George to upend and drain the said oils. He now knows that frangipani oil is around £7 for 10ml!

Now ‘the shed’ smells much sweeter after I gave him a spare burner!
He’s now taking the drained cans back to the scrappy to exchange them for undrained ones! Along with tomatoes and dahlias for the scrappy’s missus!

Not design and construction I know but worth a mention as he’s now considering extracting oils from his own flowers with (home made) steam distillation!
As Jeremy Clarkson would say, “How hard can it be?” ;)
