And I'm STILL waiting for my onions, garlic and shallots from Unwins with a bed ready and this lovely rain......... :mad: >:(

I have yet to get my garlic in the ground.... when I should have been down the plot we were away from home for two days! Oh well....... here's hoping they'll catch up once they eventually get into the ground.....next week-end.

As an experiment this year we bought in overwintering onion, shallots and garlic to sell in our shops.  The white onions are all sold and so are the shallots.  The packets say 'plant Sept/Oct so some people are now turning their noses up at them.  If they haven't gone by the weekend we will be planting 200 red onions.  Waste not want not.
