Three small spears are showing in the asparagus bed - and I'm thrilled to bits. I know I can't pick them, but am so excited cos this was my very first project on what was a wild and weedy allotment last Autumn - and I just had to tell you all !!!!
Still glowing, still growing, still going strong!

Good on you.  Keep it very well weeded - especially any perennials which have survived.

It'll get even more exciting when you get to harvest and eat your first few spears next year  :)
Gardening organically on chalky, stony soil.
