Pumpkin colour

My pumpkins don't seem to be turning Jack O'Lantern Orange even though they are shown as such on the seed packet. They're still a pale yellow. Am I doing something wrong?

They're HUGE so I've obviously done something right!

When you cut them take them into the warmth of the house, or a greenhouse, for a week or so. This will harded the skin and they should develop their full colour

Your not on your own. Mine are big and still green, but they will turn just as Salmo said.
