how about rotavator racing, or a hoe down 

Rotovator racing sounds brilliant... there'll have to be at least two categories though... manned and un-manned to start with then different horse-power. My Howard 200 will toddle off all on its own if I let go of the handles - I often have to catch up with it when I'm on the new 1/2 plot and I've stopped to oik out a bit of wire / glass or string from the soil and it hasn't noticed I've stopped! 

Darts for indoors, hoe-downs near the front-door (we need a covered viewing platform for when it rains) and then cctv monitoring for the big races... "The Rotovator Run".

Specialist hoe sections = onion hoe, draw and dutch hoes - what about a swoes obstacle course? 

Quiet moments... small large larder fridge to keep the drinks cool and comfortable cushions on long wooden benches... Hessian covered would be fine - multi-use so ideal for collecting the spuds in later

Wheelbarrow jousts 2 players a team one to push one to hold a hoe and dustbin lid. We could go up and down either side of a row of raspberries !

Yep you got it, wonder if Gwiz can make us some steel helmets out of galvanised buckets.

Not had so much fun since I made a cannon and blew myself up !
