Ooh I'm definitely making sure I'm here for breakfast!!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Horseradish urgh yuk  Looks like I'll be making the usual attempt(s) at perfect Panettone, so there'll be at least a couple of those to share  :D

Right, there are four cakes in the cupboard and I've just popped in to 'feed' them with some booze.  DO NOT touch the one in the red tin as it is reserved for Auntie.

Thank you, Wighty.  How on earth did you know that Aunty is quite frond of a slice of cake ?  Don’t forget the nice cup of tea too, dear.

Thank you MoS, I can make the marzipan but I've never been very good at icing.  There used to be a Crawford's biscuit tin in the cupboard with cake decs in. I can't find it now. I bet one of the boys has been in and emptied the tin and used it to change the oil on their rotovator.  You know what they're like.

Auntie, I'm a bit annoyed, I haven't finished 'feeding' the cakes yet nor have I iced or marzipaned them.  Anyway don't worry about the cup of tea bit (but if you've already eaten your cake ::) I've negotiated with the cricket club down the road that we can borrow their tea urn over the festive period.

I've hidden the other three cakes in another members shed so that I can still get at them but you don't know where they are so that at least the rest of us get some. I'm  on to the puddings this weekend, two traditional and a sticky toffee one with caramel sauce.  Any other requests will be considered, looking at a raspberry ripple cheesecake as well.
