can anyone tell me what herbs can be planted that come back up every year, I would love to have a herb area but dont want to have to grow them every year, just lazy you know.

Rosemary, lavender, sage, chives, thyme, oregano, fennel (not the bulbing sort) are perennials I think.

Annuals include parsley, basil, coriander.

The perennials tend to like a well-drained sunny spot.
