When I cut my grass I give some to my chickens?Is this harmful to them?

I do the same, i just make sure that i clean out the collection bin 1st so there is no mouldy grass inside, and i dont give them the grass from under the trees as there is lots of bird poop in the grass! oh and make sure the grass doesnt get too long before cutting as they can get crop impaction from long grass.

Our girls get soo excited when the see the lawn mower comming out its so funny they love the grass as well as eating it they scratch it all over.
Just be carefull if you treat the lawn like a "weed and feed". If you do it after a cut and water it well in the next cut put it in the compost bin just in case.
Like Chickenlady say watch out under trees for poo but also for small twigs.
