Permanently Broody

Hi,
Is this not a good thing to have a broody hen. I've had 9 hens go broody this year and have hatched all sorts under them. I've just had a hatch in the incubator and have had problems getting them to eat and drink so much easyer under a broody hen.
If you don't want a hen going broody just keep taking the eggs away and putting her outside might help as one of my pekins was going broody and I didn't want her to and this did work.
