potato sprouts - compost?
« on: August 07, 2009, 10:42 »
Hi all I have two bags of last years potatoes which have sprouted horribly. shall i bin them or add them to the compost heap. Will this mean loads of rogue potato plants in the compost?

It's advisable not to.

a - the latter reason you quoted.
b - the risk of them passing on disease.
