Bantam laying?

Hi, i have recently acquired a pair of white peking banties, she was not laying and now she is, i thought hens laid all the time as long as there was sufficient light, but a local country guy told me she should have stopped laying by now. can anyone shed some light?

Like you said leaf I think they lay until the days get shorter and they dont have so much light, I also think it has to do with the breed and type and the time of year they were hatched!

I was told that the pullets (Hibrids) I have now should lay through this winter and stop laying when they moult.

But I am no expert and some one with more knowledge than me will shed some more light for you!

Hi my pekins stop and start they are not like hybrids who are really bred as laying machines
