Aggy gave me some pretty in purple seeds last year.  They were VERY prolific, but tiny little chillies.  They start off purple, then ripen through orange to red.  Can also be grown in a pot and sometimes used as a house plant!

They look very pretty with the 3 different colours on the plant!

You weren't a goth in your youth were you.. 8) ;)

That's my excuse for growing purple and black veg and I'm sticking to it!

How about purpley-black tomatilloes? Or purple kohl-rabi (Azure Star)?

Forgot to mention the purple radishes we grew as well. Theye were the summer sort and now we are going to have winter ones - also purple (on the outside at least!)

No I paid real money for them   Am sowing them this week as they are a kind of early winter veg. Sorry I can't recall the variety they are in the shed at the plot and I can't look. I know they are German and translated are called Blue Winter
