Was there ever a hen who just never laid?

Hi there,

I just wanted to add my reassurances that your Nugget will start laying at some stage.  The three older chooks we've got are the same breed as your brown one (I'm presuming Nugget is the brown one )  Our 'Duck' (so named because someone clipped her beak too short) has only started laying last week, 2 months after the first one started laying.  We got her as a P.O.L. also and were guaranteed they were alll 18 weeks.  She didn't start laying until nearly 30 weeks.  I just thought she was a couple weeks younger than the other two.

I have noticed that my first one to lay of the trio 'Goose' has stopped laying over the last 4 days.  She's been laying one egg per day for the last two months, do you think she might just be taking a break?  (was I supposed to post a new topic for this question?)
