Stopped Laying,
« on: July 01, 2009, 21:38 »
Out of my three girls, only two have laid up to now,  Stevie G and Edwina were laying daily and now they have stopped and i am reduced to one every other day,   nothing has changed with them and they are given plenty of greens, they seem happy doing their chickeny things scratching etc,    what has gone wrong? :(

probably nothing, if they are a balanced diet, mostly pellets -with access to grit and crushed oyster shell. It is common for birds to have a little break this time of year :)

Thanks for that,  I have had to buy eggs (free range of course) twice this week and it was very annoying! I was getting concerned but if its normal i can cope!
