I couldn't help it
« on: July 01, 2009, 00:03 »
but I kind of bought another gadget  you see it was like this I was looking on Ebay for a replacement sofa ( got a Multiyork 4 years old for £40 - yipee) but I ACCIDENTLY looked to see how much yoghurt makers are now and usually they go for over £20 including the posting and well.........um.................er............there was a BARGIN, £4 plus £4.99 postage and well, I did it I went and broke my no more gadget rule

At least it wasn't a new one, so it almost doesn't count........does it????

Oh how kind you all are and I'm also stopping all that yoghurt packaging from going to landfill  The last yoghurt maker I had last for years and I got on well with it, I used to use longlife milk and a starter yoghurt and top it with fresh fruit and homemade fruit syrups. Yum. Now if I had a jam maker I could make nice toppings.................

My yoghurt maker came on Wednesday and I made a batch over night, there was too much mixture to fit in 5 little pots but I discovered that my smallest IKEA glasses fit into machine. We had 8 pots of yoghurt and I've eaten 3 already. It goes well with John and Val's recipe for elderflower syrup and fresh fruit.

I was so lucky cos they really do go for a lot of money usually and I can't work out why mine was so cheap, I feared it would be no good but it's excellent.
