ohhh I have a spare Wire thing that will do as a trellis.  Stooopid question do you get more than one squash on a plant then.

I limit mine to 4-6 per plant.

What variety are they? As well as the trailing ones, I'm trying some of these this year, which are the bush type and probably more suitable if you're stuck for space.

I might have to do this next year too as the baby Bears are really running everywhere. Look prolific though  and keeping the weeds down underneath the sweetcorn  :D

I grow both trailing and bush. I find trailing tend to have more fruit but that might be due to the extra water they receive as they are planted in with the runner beans while the bush type have a spot of their own.

I don't bother to limit number of fruit unless it is right at the end of the season then I might chop off any that look too small to mature in time.
