Beetroot between Savoy cabbage?
« on: April 15, 2007, 11:17 »
We are running out of space and hubby would like to know if he should plant the baby beetroot plants between the Savoys - or will that be a mistake?  This is our first year with more than three veg. so we are a bit in the dark
I'm sure I should be doing something - not just indulging in surfing this forum.  Anyone know what?

Yup, go for it.  The beetroot should be finished in plenty of time.  If not, the savoys will cope with having a lower leaf removed.
