Holy potatoes

Holy potatoes

My fellow allotment grower's potato leaves seem to be eaten something. My potatos have this as well to some extent (but my potato plants are larger). Are these slugs or caterpillars or what?  And what are the possible remedies?

Snails and shield bugs have been munching on mine, not enough to worry about though :)

Ask your priest for some holy water to spray them with.
