Hi guys

I just went past a plot and someone was just putting some potatoes in? I always thought it was too late to do it now? Is it too late or could i stick somemore in lol?

These are special late planted potatoes, usually for Christmas.

I've found a few earlies that I hd left over. Bit wizzened, but otherwise quite healthy looking.

Going to stick them in, 12 weeks from now it'll only be September so no probs. Bit early for Christmas tatties possibly, most suppliers don't deliver until July. (OK we're nearly there, but new spuds will only take 12 weeks or so).

I plan to put my carlingfords in for a Christmas crop when they arrive in early july - just leave them in the ground after the haulms have died off and harvest as needed  :happy:
