Any opinions on mangetout "Roi des Carouby"

Any opinions on mangetout "Roi des Carouby"

Also, any idea how tall they grow?  They are a climbing pea.

are these the same? i think so as 'roi de carouby' is also a 'snowpea' but not on the english web!

I grew them last year and had a v good crop of mangetout :D

 Well I have Carouby De Maussane growing, the packet tells me they are Demi-Nain, semi dwarf, but they are now 4ft. high and growing like the cl***ers.  :wacko:

Semi dwarf? :lol: mine were over 5ft last year :D

Last year I planted a whole packet of new Carouby de Maussane peas and not a single one came up. Talk about dwarfed!  >:(

Carouby de Maussane about 4/5 foot. Grew them last year. Purple flowers, very pretty. Peas are big and very nice I have already started eating this years batch.

  Came a quite a shock to me when 90cms. (thats what it said on the packet) turned iinto 4ft. plus. :ohmy:

I'm growing Carouby de Maussane too, a few are hitting the top of a 6' fence panel. Though most are still around 3-4'.

Came as a shock to me when an inch turned out to be 2.54 cms. I'll catch up sometime.

Hmm... may need to rethink the 30cm support I put in then  :blink:  May also need a ladder to harvest if they do get that big  ::)
