That looks brilliant!  I am growing Kale and didn't realise you could harvest leaves I thought you had to wait.

I have a dilema now as mine is under netting that I stapled to the raised beds.  Should I remove the netting completely so I can regularly harvest, therefore giving the butterflies a chance to get in, or leave the net and wait to harvest?

I have net on but I just remove pegs to harvest, I did wonder whether kale need covering the whole of its life as mine is huge already  ???

well the kids enjoyed it so much they asked very nicely if they could just this once lick their plates  :mellow: I never ever let them but today I thought what the heck and they have both gone to wash their faces, I made the gravy with the kale water and they even had the left over gravy in a cup to drink  :blush:
