Hello all, i have planted tatties in a spud bag and the tops are so big they are trailing the ground.. is this normal??

Some of mine are the same..i just put some canes in and tied string round to tidy them up till i tip them out

The recent heavy rain has made it worse and quite a lot of mine have become trailing potatoes  but are still looking healthy enough
