getting chicks to go to bed

Hi Anyone have any suggestions how i can get my chickens(6 weeks old) to go bed, I tired leaving them out as long as poss andwent to check around 10.30pm both where huddled up under the hen house, even though door was open for them to go to bed

Have you checked to see if your house has any nasties in it ?

Probably not, but always worth a check.

Pop a torch in the house at bedtime (if too bright, cover the end with a sock or something). Worked for me.
