sweetcorn and coldish nights

I have noticed that according to Metcheck tonight and tomorrow will get down to 8deg.....if it does get this low will the sweetcorn be ok?
Just wondering as i know the outside toms don't like it if it goes under 10

but i've never grown corn before

Mine survived the frost that the spuds & courgettes didn't last year!
