I don't know what's going on with my courgette. It's about 6 weeks old planted from seed and measures about 18 inches across, has 4 good sized leaves with more coming along and some vey small buds on it. It's been kept in a small plastic greenhouse and has been well watered. Everytime I put the courgette out in the sun the leaves begin to wilt and when I put it in some shade the leaves recover. I don't want to leave it out in the sun for to long incase it dies. In my book about veg, it says courgettes like sunny sheltered spots. Anyone got any ideas what's up with it? I can post some pics if that help.

Is the pot big enough? Is it getting enough water?

Probably just needs hardening off. Put is somewhere in the shade for a few days and the leaves will toughen up.

The pot is about 7inches diameter and about the same deep, I'll leave it out and harden it off for a few days. Thanks for the advice.

Don't know if it's just me but that sounds too small a pot to grow a courgette in (unless you are soon going to plant it out)
