there is a load of wild garlic growing near us and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas how i can use it.  It smells so good

Use the leaves in a salad, in an omlette or anywhere where garlic is used to add a slightly more subtle flavour.
Cheese makes everything better.

I've never seen anyone use the bulb.  Also, if you did you wouldn't get more next year from the plant.

sometimes wrap meat in it (lamb, rabbit) before roasting  mmmmmmm
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

Mum showed me an impressive patch in her garden today so just thought I'd resurrect this thread in case anyone else was wondering what to do with it.

I like it cut thinly through salads or used it yesterday in my spanakopita, raw until the oven cooking stage. :) I would imagine its good in soups too, but I have tried it. Now there's a thought, wild garlic and nettle soup..... Hmm.. :)
