hi folks . im planning on putting my pellets and grit and oyster shell mixed in the one large food container .
Apparently according to the instructions on my pellets a chicken will consume 130g of food a day so with my 8 chickens thats just over a kilo a day if my maths is right . How much grit and oyster shell should i put into it on a daily basis . Im sure you pro keepers out there will have an answer for me . Perhaps i should have it in a tray elsewhere . Who knows .  hopefully one of you helpful folk do

I place my grit and oyster shell separate from the food, it is the norm.
