Runner beans starting to flower

Runner beans starting to flower

They have not reached the top of my Munty yet and they are starting to flower is this right tey are only up about 3.5ft at the most so far do they keep growing with flowers. Is there anything i should do with them.

Flowers means beans are coming. If theres bees around to pollonate of course.
 I think you have missed a late frost too. Your beans are way in font of mine.  :tongue2:

There's still chance we can have a cold weather front come in yet  :( 8)but for now these will do i might eat my smiley if the weather does chance tho :ohmy:  This is my first year growing so feeling good right now.  Will try and get a picture today while down the plot.

IMHO you should indeed plant some some more and then you will have a really long season of runners  :D

I always start another row in front of the first lot, seeds straight into the soil in mid June :) The new lot start flowering lower down, just as the first lot are way out of reach.....well they are for me :lol: :tongue2:
