As per subject really I have room for one experimental Munty frame (As post a week or so ago) and I am growing Runners and French Beans and was wondering if they wont mind sharing as in should I mix them one each per string or should I keep them separate?

Blue Lake for French and Scarlett Emperor for the Runners.

I ran two different types of runners up my frame and didn't notice any real difference in the results: the Polestars were Polestars, the White Lady was White Lady. There might have been a few crosses but both types gave bumper crops that it just wasn't a problem for me and I wasn't saving seeds. So, I'd say go ahead, just keep each seed type to one half rather than intermixing them.

I wasn't worried about cross fertilisation, more competition (The runners domination the French etc), I may well put a double string system in place so although they share the top of the frame, they are kept apart for the first few weeks.

There shouldn't be much competition but to be sure, place the smaller french runners to the sunniest side of the frame to minimize any light competition. It's what I did this year.
