Is it too late to put in Sprout seeds? He's just put them in, is he too late to try do them?

No, plenty of time to grow, they're an over winter crop so got all season.

Rather a bit late than too soon, if the sprouts start to form when it's warm, thay can easily "blow".
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

plenty of time to catch up  - a more important question is can you protect them from caterpillars?
