Got our half plot on 31 May last year when it looked like this:

This is what it looks like now:

It's been a huge learning curve but I think we are getting somewhere....

Excellent progress.

Can I ask how you cleared the ground? As my plot is exactly like that.

Sure, you may not like the answer though  :tongue2:

I dug it over a section at a time, hand weeding and then planting as I went...

Got to half way up the plot and then used Round Up on the other half which my very kind plot neighbour then rotovated for me.

Have been down there this afternoon and our site has been broken into.

My shed was one of the ones targetted. All my tools (most of which were old and well used) are gone, including the broken trowel.  They've even taken my blood, fish & bone, growmore and gardening gloves.

I'm so mad at the moment, I could cry

 So sorry Mythi - it's a horrid feeling isn't it? Ours was vandalised last year - burned to the ground, everything gone, even my favourite hat!  Hugs .....

So sorry to hear that your tools have been stolen, Mythi,  >:( I know how upsetting it is to have even tatty tools stolen. :(
I had banked on the tools I used on the lotty (previous to my current one) being too tatty to be worth taking . . . wrong!
The tools I now use were really cheap, £5 or less each, but they live in the back of my car, as I really like them, and I can't get steel with plastic handles anymore if I should be forced to replace them.

Nice work on the plot! Well done!
Do I spot a lazy bed between the wigwam and the blue hoops? :D I love lazy beds!  :D

Lolz I think I see a raised bed or two further back too,  :tongue2:
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
