Probiotics

can anyone recommend a probiotic for my chickens.

something perhaps i can add to the water.

I have used the live yougurt but just wanted to offer something I can perhaps give over a week or so to give them a boost.

I seem to be having a lot of crop issues.

Avipro Plus is what I use Hawkins. You can add it to the water but that works out a bit expensive as most of it then gets thrown away.

My vet recomended adding a pinch to a couple of ml of water and dripping it into the hen's beak but I sprinkle it on to some wet mash which they always eat ravenously.

My vet sells it but it is easy to buy on line - Here's a few places

Funny I just came across it as I was searching and Its not too expensive and mine like wet mash too.

Will get some and give them a boost for a week. see how they go.

Make sure the mash is not hot when you sprinkle it on or it will kill the bugs. About blood heat of cooler is fine.
