Free spud from T&M query?

Hi, Having just received my free spuds from T&M the Vivaldis have been substituted with Vales Emerald, first early, isnt it 2 late to be planting them? Cheers!

You'll be fine ..they're called earlies because they grow very quickly, so if planted at same time as others they would be first to harvest. But you can plant them now and still get a good crop :)

My vivaldies are just poking through took longer than usual as I didn't chit them.  They were the free ones arrived about 3 weeks ago.

I'm growing vivaldi in the ground, my 2nd lot of free spuds were hunter and they're in pots just breaking through as well :) My neighbours just given me another half dozen chitted pentland javelin, so have to start yet another pot...............i'm running out of room fast :lol: :lol:

Three and two I think, there was 5 tats wasn't there.  I wasn't too worried as got loads of tats on the go.  All in pots so loads of money on compost and didn't want to spend much more.  My other tats you see are in very large pots 5 or 6 to a pot.  Pot is about 24" across and about that high (sure I quote different everytime but approx).  But lots of peeps do theirs in buckets which is probably the size of the larger bag.  Oh and I only got two bags instead of the three promised.  I think the bigger the pot the more spuds you would get as they grow all off the stem which in a bigger pot has further to go to reach the heavens and more soil to produce new tats.

I never had any room to begin with :(, no lottie, small front garden & lots of pots!! Front path is begining to look like an assault course :lol: At least keep unwanted visitors away!
