i have small raised bed (of sorts) i just planted about 10 strawberry plants out but still have over half the bed empty would it be ok to plant my cabbage seedlings in there too? also how far apart should my cabbages be? (bed is about 2m x 3m)

You can put your cabbages out OK - 8" apart they will be quite small but you can harvest the ones in between for spring greens and let the others get bigger.
The strawberries will take over the bed though. Just get loads of ice cream in.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
