Swede and Broccoli

This is really my first year in having a go at various veg although have normally done tomatoes and runner beans in the garden.

This year I have broad beans, onions, leeks, beetroot, radish all in as well as quite a few mixed salad leaves. Climbing beans, toms, aubergines, artichoke, courgette, sweetcorn all in the greenhouse and all doing well and all grown in Richy's Paper Pots :-) Carrots also in but no show so far.

I also had some swede and broccoli seedlings doing very well also but over the last week they have both died back and now I am going to have to re-sow. Are there any tried and trusted methods I should look to be doing as a beginner?

I have 2 3m x 2m veg plots in my garden so what else would you recommend having a go at? I also have Brussel Sprouts ready to sow.

Any help/advice appreciated

Yes they were in the greenhouse but I was leaving them outside during the day, moving back in at night.

probably still been too warm for them even outside, put new lot somewhere shady when you have sown them while it is as hot as this, they really can't cope till they are quite big.
