Yes - permanent ache in arms due to giving myself (according to my GP friend) tennis AND golf elbow in BOTH arms pulling out masses (the pile was at one point about 3 ft high and 4ft across!!) evilevilnettle roots about 18 months ago! pain now reduced to twinges thanks to investing in a rotavator and getting other half interested in helping!

let's be careful out there people....

I still ache form last weekend, i cleverly thought i would move the shed, which was fine untill i lifted the roof, felt and all onto the top, must have weighed 100Kg. I was shaking afterwards and now muscles i didn't know i had ache!

Looks nice in its new position and freed up some more planting space

Don't know about you lot but I think the problem lies in the fact that we are all getting on a bit.  Doubt I'd have been interested in all this hard physical exercise when I was a young fit teenager!! :D

Wouldn't have dreamed of eating half of what I'm growing, either!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I've got tendonitis (or something - self-diagnosed!) in my left hand/wrist which came on after the first digging session in February, still hurts when under strain  :(
