I am trying to order but when I press 'go to checkout' it comes up that there is a problem with the sites security certificate.  Is anyone else getting this warning?

I got that too but just added an exception (using Firefox).

Thanks Steve, order placed  :)

Does anyone grow Alpine strawberries?

My father grew some from seed and as the plants have spread I was able to dig up a few to try at home.   :)

I had some seeds for my birthday, you have to put the packet in the freezer for 2-4 weeks before sowing - so that's where they are!!

I'm not sure my father did chilled his....probably just left them sitting out in the greenhouse getting cold all on their own...but there again he may not have.

We had them growing in the front garden of our first house and it was northfacing but we had good crops. They grow like weeds in my daugher's garden.   :ohmy:If you have space, they are worth it  :D

They do grow like weeds , always good for a dozen berries to go on the breakfast cereal. Have even picked them Christmas time.

No mine haven't arrived but I wouldn't worry yet.  I'm expecting them next week some time going on other offers I have taken up.

I phoned yesterday to say i haven't got them yet and the snooty woman said not sending them till the end of the month. So i asked why the money had already been taken from my a/c. She said that when they delay the money taking till despatch lots of the payments bounce so they do it this way now. O well.
It's just that when you see the money has been taken you assume they have despatched the order, but not with Fothergill's.
