Feltham First
« on: March 13, 2009, 15:41 »
I was thinking of sowing Felthams in the guttering and covering with clingfilm this week.

What does everyone think.

In the South West, and the weather is okay.

Thanks
Thanks

Id go for it down where you are..if a frost is forecast then cover them over with fleece or newspaper to be on the safe side

Mine are about 8" tall and been planted out for a couple of weeks. I took the plastic bottles off the top earlier today as they were outgrowing them. Will they still need wrapping up?

I planted Feltham 1st in the g/house and planted them out on the plot in plastic bottles. doing well :tongue2:
I shall remove the bottles mid April.
The answer lies in what you put into the ground!

Whoops, I didn't realise I hadn't

I planted mine in paper pots back in November in a plastic green house, then outside a couple of weeks ago.

Im assuming theyve had the bottles on 24/7? Wrap them at night for a couple of weeks and if a frost is forecast
