i have permission to build another run on my first plot which is great . i was looking at the area the other day an realised the greenhouse would end up blocking to much sun from the run so i sold it to another plot holder { great needed the money } . but today i started to clean it out etc an now i have figured we aint going to be able to move it at all as its more then heavy , it could be taken apart but that really is more hassle then what its worth as i built it very very securely . the greenhouse is 7foot by 7 roughly so its a nice size one , if i we decided we cant move it and i give the ppl back thier money would it still be ok to build the run next to it considering it would be blocking out a reasonable amount of sunlight .

i am just going to add a pic , to me it seems there may be to much shade ... the green house is now turned round so the door way is facing the front of the plot .

Which way is south and where are the chooks to go ?

i think south is to the left of the pic and the chocks will be going on the right hand side of the greenhouse , as this time round i want to bury wire mesh under ground and that area is lovely to dig . in a way i hope they decide we me that the greenhouse is to heavy to move but the thing is they really have thier heart set on having it .

Do you mean between the greenhouse and the hedge ?

no sorry ,the hedge is the raspberrys on the next plot .lol.

u see the canes towards the right of the pic the run an house will be going on that side of the plot right next to the greenhouse which is at the back of the plot , if i can find some battries tomorw i will take better pics. i know from last year that side of the greenhouse didnt seem to get much sun at all .

They only need a little sun to bask in occasionally for making vitamin D.  The shade is ok for them as long as the light level is reasonable.  I wouldn't think a greenhouse would block out much light - it's made of glass

mines made of corrugated pvc sheets as glass is a no go zone around here .  sounds like in one way i have made a mistake of selling the greenhouse , { i worry to much } if we decide that its to heavy an awkard to lift then it will stay an i will just have to give the ppl thier money back  spent it already  . never mind  .
i only use it for storage anyway i nick mums seedlings that she starts of in the heated greenhouse so i dont need to worry about using it for things like that .

if i dont have to give them the money back and we do find a way of moving it then i can stil buy my new bike the wekend   we dont really need 3 greenhouses . aunt sally tell me to shut up if i am going on a bit to much   i give u permission
