Paper Pots - Are The Coloured Inks In Newspaper Toxic To Plants

I understand that the black and white ink in newspapers are safe for seedlings. After potting up 55 garlic cloves a couple of days ago in newspaper pots.I have suddenly realised that the newspaper i have used contains coloured inks.
Are the coloured inks in newspapers toxic to young plants.

It's more the accumulation of heavy metals in the soil that is a problem this can be taken up by the palants and is then in the food chain.

Having said that I would't worry too much the levels are a lot lower than they used to be.
