im going to try and do it myself this year anyone got any thips on pickleing garlic please

I've pickled it under vinegar before.  I don't know the thing you mean, but if it's in a spiced vinegar, you'd add the spices and let them steep for a while before you boil it.  I peel the cloves, and then simmer them gently in boiling vinegar for about 5 minutes (it makes them sweeter than if I simply bottled them raw).  Then I fill hot, sterile jars with the garlic, pour over the boiling vinegar, and screw the lids down quickly with an oven-glove.  They take a while to be palatable: a couple of months at least for the flavour to mellow.

thanks i think thats what i needed to know,,they must just add curry powder to to it,it great  with cheese.have a try
