Quick question, when could I start gemination of Felthams. I want to do it now, but everyone is saying no, wait. Germination would take a couple of weeks anyway.

So by the time I get them out, it should have warmed up here in Bristol.

Temp is rising as we speak.

Thanks
Thanks

Temp is rising but its not necessarily going to stay that way! Id wait till the middle of march at the earliest if you are starting them off indoors, that way you can plant out in beg of april.

According to Doc Hessayon you can plant them now under glass but expect some losses if site is very cold and exposed.

Peas? I planted mine in November in a plastic greenhouse and they're doing fine even with the cold weather.

I dont grow them but a number of fellow plot holders sow them direct in the ground in Autumn for spring picking.
I see no reason why they could not go in now,but it should say on the packet

Air temperature is rising fast as you say but the ground temperature is not  ;)

If you can get the soil temp up a little then perhaps but I'd be worried about them rotting in the cold soil
