Does anyone encourage birds into their allotment?

I suppose it`s a lot easier for those of us with veg in their gardens to attract birds if we have the space so any little weed pockets do their bit to attract birds but how about a bird table on which to deposit slugs and caterpillars!You`ll get ronins at the very least.

yes i always put all my slugs and other nasty,s on a small table for the robin there so cheeky ,lovely though

Watch out, Mandycharlie, the birds just LOVE nutty old fruitcake !!! Our allotment is pretty bare at present so only attracts old crows - that's crows not crones ! But we'll be putting out some seed feeders for the small birds up at the top, near the hedge. I love birds me, they make me twitch !!! Jean
