im in suffolk jane n its forcast bad this week so i wouldnt put them out .but if you do put a cloche over them  close the ends down well  pile soil up agin the edges of the plastic and they may fare well :wink:

how tall do kelvedon wonders grow? the ambassador seeds states 18" but the kelvedon packet says nothing about height, :?  I grew some before that were about 6 foot, but i can't remember what type they were

Kelvedon Wonder are stumpy - height of about 45cm.
Gardening organically on chalky, stony soil.

ahhhh that my personal crusade . i refuse to discuss metric in any form .i wont use it cos i reckon the dam europeans has ripped us off with decimal money n metric measurements i can even go n buy blooming 2x2 wood now they give me smaller sizes . so i make a noise n say i want what i asked for .......... come the revolution .imperial will regain its hold on the world .power to the inch  :lol:

You must have loved it in the States - bushels and everything there.  Gets confusing when they only have 16 fl oz to the pint though.
